Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee and manage the mechanical aspects of construction projects — ensuring installations, systems, and equipment are completed efficiently, on time, and in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Oversee mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning on-site.
• Coordination: Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Quality Control: Monitor quality of mechanical installations. Conduct regular inspections.
• Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines. Conduct risk assessments.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed site reports, progress logs, and documentation.
• Testing & Commissioning: Supervise testing and handover of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Education & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years as a Mechanical Engineer in construction or contracting.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving on-site issues.
